When a friend posted an Indian restaurant had opened in Hermitage, I was so excited and Desi Tadka did not disappoint! Staff was very friendly! My husband got the Lamb Vindaloo and garlic cheese naan, I ordered the Paneer Bhurji and Special Chicken Biryani. The chicken Biryani was the perfect spice level(for me) and the chicken was tender and moist. The Paneer Bhurji was very tasty and has a subtle Smokey flavor and melted on my mouth. I’m excited to come back and try more of the menu. No complaints, just happy tastebuds and full stomachs

The food and service is always wonderful. My wife and I visit here every chance we get! We are always extremely full and satisfied. The owners since day one have treated us like family. If you are ever hesitant to try this because it’s new to you, don’t wait! The chicken tikka masala is one of my favorites! The garlic naan is delicious! I’m not big into trying new food normally but I always do here! My wife is vegetarian and has never been disappointed by anything she’s tried! She could honestly eat this everyday. Very thankful to have this close to us now! We used to drive 45 minutes to pick it up.

Our first visit to Taste of India was an amazing experience! As students, finding food that truly feels like home can be challenging, but this place absolutely delivered. The flavors were rich, the dishes were delicious, and every bite brought back a sense of comfort. We genuinely enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning very soon—probably sooner than you’d expect!❤️‍🔥

My sister was craving Indian food. After looking at the various options, she chose Taste of India. It did not disappoint. We enjoyed the mango lassi, palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, the bread basket (garlic naan, onion naan, and garlic cheese naan), and the chicken chili momo. The food was delicious! The portions were very generous…so, I can enjoy it another day. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and generous. We look forward to returning there again.

Amazing service 👏🏽 the food came out with much care, fresh, and hot. Many people came to check to make sure the food was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better time. Great price, affordable great dinner. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem.
